Automation works best from the first drawing.
By the time an integrator is appointed, the electrical drawings are frozen, the false ceiling is designed and the switch positions are set. At that stage, every detail needs careful coordination — surface trunking, keypad placement and rack allocation all compete with the architecture.
Involved at layout, we design to your intent instead: keypad positions coordinated with furniture, cable routes agreed before ceilings close, and interfaces chosen from your material palette rather than from whatever one manufacturer happens to sell.

Design coordination
We read your drawings and mark up automation intent against them — room by room, circuit by circuit — before anything is priced.
Circuit schedules & load calculations
Every controlled circuit listed, grouped and loaded, so the electrical contractor knows exactly what is being asked of each cable.
Cable routes & conduit
Bus and power routing agreed with the site electrician while the ceiling is still open. This is the stage that saves the most money.
Panel schematics
Automation panel layout and wiring drawings, with space allocated in your services plan as part of the design.
BOQ support
An itemised bill of quantities your client can compare against other quotes, with every line visible and programming priced openly.
Interface selection
Because we build on an open standard, keypads and panels are chosen from a genuine range of finishes — glass, metal, engraved, flush — to sit with your materials.
Site coordination
We attend site during wiring and again at first fix, giving technical coordination at the stages where adjustments are most efficient.
Programming & commissioning
Scenes tuned in the finished room, with the actual furniture in place and the actual daylight coming in. Commissioned in the environment where the system will live.
Handover & support
A walkthrough with whoever lives there, and a direct line afterwards. Acknowledged within the hour, on site within 24 to 48.
How we behave on your project
You keep the client. We take the technical risk.
We work through the studio, keep scope conversations with you, and design to your aesthetic. The system should look like your project.

At what stage should we bring you in?
Layout stage, before electrical drawings are finalised. Second best is before wiring starts. After plaster, we can still deliver a good system but the options narrow and the cost rises.
Will you work to a fixed BOQ we issue to multiple integrators?
Yes. And if the BOQ specifies something we think is wrong for the project, we will tell you before we quote rather than after installation.
Do you provide drawings we can include in our tender set?
Yes — circuit schedules, cable routes and panel schematics in a format your contractor can price and build from.
Can the client keep their existing switch plate brand?
Often, yes. This is one of the practical benefits of an open standard: we can draw on many manufacturers’ ranges. Send us what is specified and we will confirm.
Who does the client call in year three?
Us, directly. And because the system is KNX, if they ever want a different integrator, they are free to appoint one. Nothing is locked.
